And it's official. We're moving to Seattle.

I start the new job in Everett on July 15th.

For something that I've been wanting for so long, there are surprisingly few words for how I feel now that the search is finally over.

Just got an itinerary confirmed. Flying out on Wednesday afternoon to Seattle, coming home Thursday afternoon after the interview that morning.

Doesn't give me much time to see Seattle, but that might be enough to have dinner and maybe hit up the original Starbucks.

Think I just got an interview in Seattle.

*cue tentative hyperventilating squeeing*

So, remember the big interview of doom two months ago? Exactly two months later (to the day) they told me they weren't interested.

Suck, but it was nice to have that going for a while. Now it's time to get back on the effing horse.

Just had a telecon interview with a company in Colorado about an aerospace engineering job. Thought it went well. They kept talking about flying me out and the time crunch of how long it would take me to get there if they made an offer.

Not sure how to feel about this.

The company I had a phone interview with a few weeks ago just contacted me wanting me to come in for an on-site interview.

Two days before I fly back from Hong Kong.

FUCK.

They said they would fly me back early for it but damn that sounds stupid. I hope they'll just push the interview back two days.

Spent 30 minutes answering variations on the question "How well do you play with others?", and came out of the interview thinking I presented myself and my experience well, but...
